BREAKFAST FOR THE WARRIOR

How to make Breakfast for the Warrior:

In a large bowl, in this order, add milk, oil, cinnamon, protein powders. Stir until well blended. Next, add banana, cooked oatmeal, and frozen kale. Stir again until well blended. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1/2 cup almond milk (your choice of milk)
1 tablespoon Udo's oil (flaxseed oil)
dash of cinnamon
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (whey)
1/2 scoop soy protein powder (unflavored)
1/3 sliced banana
1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
3/4 cup chopped frozen kale (or spinach)

ROASTED, HONEY MUSTARD BRUSSELS SPROUTS

How to make:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and cut bottoms of sprouts. Then cut head in half. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add oil and salt. Toss. Bake for 10-12 minutes. For even roasting, stir once half way through. While sprouts are in oven, whisk in a small bowl, mustard, honey, and vinegar. After sprouts are roasted, place into a medium size bowl. Toss with mustard mixture and serve. Adjust salt to taste

Ingredients

1 container of brussels sprouts
(about 25 sprouts)
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon mustard
(for a spicy kick, use dijon)
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Easy Garlic Bread

How to make:

Pre-heat oven on broil to 550 degrees. Slice loaf at a slight angle, cutting slice to about 1/2" width. (This isn't rocket science, don't sweat the small stuff.) Place on single layer of baking sheet into the oven for 1 minute or less. Flip the slices of bread over, and toast for another minute or less on the other side. Cut clove of garlic in half, and rub cut part onto hot slices. Pour oil over the slices, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve immediately

Ingredients

1 french loaf of bread
olive oil to taste
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1-2 clove of garlic

BAKED SALMON WITH A CURRY RUB

How to make:

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix all the spices in a bowl. Wash fish and rub the mixed spices onto the tops/sides of the filets. Lightly oil the baking dish. Place filets, uncovered, into the oven for 8-12 minutes. While salmon is baking, slice onions into rounds. Sauté onions on low heat with oil for 5 minutes. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon ground tumeric
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
