How to make Basic Pasta Salad:

Cook pasta according to instructions on the package. While pasta is cooking, wash and cut vegetables into small pieces. Place the veggies in a large bowl. In a small separate bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, salt, seasoning, and garlic. Add cooked pasta to the large bowl of vegetables. Next, add the dressing to the pasta and vegetable mixture. Toss, cover, and refrigerate for at least a few hours. Toss again before serving.


1 lb fusilli pasta
1/4 cup yellow onion
1 stalk of celery
2 carrots
1/2 cup black olives
1/2 cup red pepper
5 button mushrooms
(add any other preferred veggies)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
